Meet the Optometrists
Dr. Jeremy and Dr. Delton Fast are an optometrist duo in Nevada providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.
As licensed optometrists, they provide exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Jeremy and Dr. Delton are also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, they are trained to recognize a range of health issues, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension.
Dr. Jeremy and Dr. Delton work hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attend continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of their dedication to continuing education that our patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
Meet Dr. Jeremy Fast
Dr. Fast is an optometrist and owner of EyeCare Professionals in Nevada, Missouri. One of the things he values most about practicing in a smaller community is the opportunity to truly get to know the people and families he cares for. For him, optometry has never been just about helping people see more clearly—it’s about building relationships, providing excellent care, and helping protect his patients’ vision and eye health for years to come.
Dr. Fast provides comprehensive medical eye care, including diagnosing and managing dry eye disease, cataracts, diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other ocular conditions. He is committed to providing advanced, high-level medical eye care, utilizing the latest diagnostic technology and evidence-based treatment options to help protect and preserve his patients’ vision.
Outside of the office, faith and family are a huge part of who Dr. Fast is. He and his wife, Lori, have two children, Stella and Anderson. When he’s not seeing patients or serving at church, Dr. Fast enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hunting, working out, tackling projects around the house, and just about anything that keeps him active. He’s also a big sports fan and enjoys being involved in the local community.
Dr. Fast feels incredibly fortunate to have a career that allows him to serve the community he calls home. He has been very involved in many local charitable and civic organizations and events, as well as serving as past president of the Missouri Optometric Association.
At EyeCare Professionals, his goal is for every patient to feel like they are more than just an appointment on the schedule. He wants patients to know that he and his team genuinely care about them, their families, and their eye health—and that they will work hard to provide the same level of care they would want for their own families.
Meet Dr. Delton Fast
Dr. Delton Fast is an optometrist and owner at EyeCare Professionals who is passionate about providing thorough, compassionate eye care to patients of all ages. He believes great patient care goes beyond simply helping someone see better—it means taking the time to listen, understand each patient’s needs, and help protect their vision and eye health for the future.
Dr. Fast values the relationships that come with practicing in a close-knit community and enjoys getting to know his patients and their families. Whether providing routine vision care, managing eye health concerns, or helping patients find solutions that improve their everyday lives, he strives to make every patient feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for.
Outside of the office, Dr. Fast enjoys spending time with family and friends and being part of the community he serves. You can find him at local ballgames and events while he supports his grandkids and the community. He is proud to be part of the EyeCare Professionals team and appreciates the opportunity to care for patients with the same kindness, attention, and respect he would want for his own family.
